Mr. and Mrs. Beal of Atwater, CA were deep in debt to the IRS when they called our law firm for help. In fact, the IRS had even begun the collection process and had taken steps to issue a lien against their property. But after reviewing the couple’s financial data, it was clear that they were good candidates to be placed on Currently Not Collectible status.

“Mr. and Mrs. Beal retained our law firm to negotiate a Currently Not Collectible status with the IRS,” recalls Ryan Carrere, the attorney who negotiated with the IRS for the Beals. ”They were excellent clients who provided all the required documentation needed to begin negotiations with the IRS. During the process, Mr. Beal changed employers, which in some cases can cause substantial delays in resolving a case. However, with the Beals, they immediately informed our law firm of the change, which allowed us to quickly make the appropriate adjustments to their financial statement and minimize delay.”

“During negotiations, the IRS also demanded proof of various expenses,” continued Carrere. “Mr. and Mrs. Beal quickly provided current proof of expenses, which our law firm immediately submitted to the IRS. Upon reviewing the proof of expenses, the IRS quickly closed the Beal’s case as Currently Not Collectible.”

“Nothing but professional and courteous service,” noted Mrs. Beal. “Thank you.”
